It's a Red-Letter Dayhere in Annapolis, Maryland and I would love for you to celebrate with me.
I was able to change the sheets on my bed by myself today, ‘mike drop moment’. That may sound silly, but to me it was a Red-Letter Moment worth celebrating!
Why is this something to be celebrated? I haven't been able to do that since I broke my wrist on November 19 of last year. This showed me I am one step closer to regaining full range of motion and the use of my right hand.
🎉 Change the sheets today, hold a water pitcher tomorrow. 🎉
This got me thinking, how often do we not even notice or negate, the Red-Letter Moments (little wins) we experience every day. At work with our colleagues, direct reports, team members or at home with our family and friends.
When we take the time to acknowledge the Red-Letter Moments and celebrate the Red-Letter Days great things happen!
