Fun is one of my biggest Core Non-Negotiable Values. If it is not fun, I don’t want to eat it, wear it, drive it, work on it, or... Life is too short and empty without it.

Fun is not fluff; it is imperative to live a full life.

Two years ago, as I was working with my team to plan the year, I became aware that I was saying something every time we discussed something I loved and felt would be valuable. I’m unaware of saying this phrase prior, but I said it repeatedly that day—so much so that everyone on the team jumped in. We had more fun that day creating content that was value-driven with great impact.

From that moment on, I decided this phrase would be my barometer for the year. I would only act on, work, or partner with those who honored my new barometer.
